GearI printed this image on 2 different materials. The first is on watercolor paper with a brown setting. The other is on copper flashing. Looks better in copper, but it was too much trouble.

Crystal PersuasionAll this picture is is me holding a quartz crystal over the end of a small flashlight.
show59.jpg
ThistleAnother floral close-up.
graveyard.jpg
GraveyardTaken at dawn, this was an unremarkable sunrise picture. But when I got a little crazy with Photoshop, it ended up looking like this. Maybe it would make a good cover for a horror novel.

Take That! 44th picture of series. I like the way the water turned out in this one.
show-1.jpg
Bird FeederA little color on a winter day.

BeeAt my mother's house these bees would hover around, but every time I tried to take a picture they would zoom away. I finally got one.

StonehengeYes, the sand and rocks are supposed to be that color. I built this little creation on Prince Edward Island, which has some very red sand and dirt.

Daisy SwirlThis is what happens when you move the camera while taking a picture. Yes, I did it on purpose and like the result.
leavesontrans.jpg
LeavesI printed this on transparency film as an experiment, and to see the image better I held it against a blank piece of glossy photo paper. The ink was still wet, and it stuck, luckily in reasonable alignment. I was amazed at the depth of color and glossiness.

ScaffoldI liked the geometry of this picture so much I used it twice. It worked well as a color image and as a black and white graphic.Sep 08, 2006

Baby GrandThis is a photo of the piano in the lecture hall of the Bangor library. I love the composition but hate that the focus is off. I would like to re-shoot this some day and do a better job.Sep 08, 2006

Dude, Where's My Car?To me the amazing thing is not that this jeep is half-buried in the ground, but that its windshield is unbroken.Sep 08, 2006

ViolaMulberry Paper With Iridescent Pre-Coat.
Nice shimmery quality, but the paper jammed about 2 1/2 inches before the end. I was able to salvage it, and it still looks good.
